The Brockhage Lock Scope is always helps to shine a little light on a problem, and when that problem is hiding inside a dark, tiny keyway it is so much easier to cope when you have a key scope.

Here is the answer for a great many happy locksmiths.  The BLS-1200 is a light weight key scope with a light weight price.  The optics are a great help when looking into keyways and the built-in illuminator makes everything light up.  Like all good key scopes, this one features a wafer depressor on the head which is necessary to push wafer tumblers down so you can read or inspect the wafers behind.

Reading and decoding auto locks is particularly difficult without a tool like this.
